At Cedar Tree Lodge we are focused on bringing the Old Balclutha Hospital back to life as its rich with local history and has a real scene of importance in our community and support people in need.
Funds are use for Building supplies and maintenance and repair's
Paint and wall paper the list goes on....
Your support is Important and you can help in so many different ways
you can purchase supplies and drop them off or donate good clean bedding
for the ones in need.
Or you can join out Volunteer program like nearly 150 people a year do..
with out Volunteers we can not run this lodge.
This lodge service our community in so many different ways, from Homeless people to employment
we are not for profit. there is no paid staff.
We are looking for a Volunteer ,Retired Electrician to help with electrical work on site. This help would be well received.
Our winter power bill can be as high as $4000 per month at this time of year the budget can be tight. and remember all staff are volunteers not paid.
We hope to have the cafe open in march 2017 just for the purpose of fundrasing.
One last thang that can help ,If you have stayed here because you have had no money or food and you have not been ask to pay. ..because we know people need help. if your financial salutation has change then i ask
